Spark Plug
A spark plug is a small but essential component of an internal combustion engine. It is responsible for igniting the air-fuel mixture in the engine’s combustion chamber, initiating the combustion process. The spark plug consists of a central electrode, an insulator, and a ground electrode. When an electrical current is delivered to the spark plug, it generates a spark that ignites the compressed air-fuel mixture, resulting in the controlled explosion that powers the engine.
